Severe storms have taken the lives of many people in Missouri, Oklahoma and Georgia. The toll has increased to 22 at present.. The rescue teams are working to find more survivors.
There were tornadoes which tore through small villages in Missouri. The tornado first entered Oklahoma destroying a small town called Picher. The officials said 150 people in the town were injured.
Then the storm moved southward towards Missouri and then to Georgia. The rescue works are going on with full swing.
