Old Age Homes

The old age homes are places most commonly found in India where old men and women seek shelter when left deserted by their sons and daughters. This is an ethical injustice but is not questioned or no rules are brought to fight this practice. The sons and daughters should never forget that if it were not their parents, he or she would not have become a refined and complete individual.

All they need is not money but a shoulder to lean and kind and soothing words that can keep them happy in their last few years or days. When they don’t get that from their beloved ones they decide to spend the rest of their lives with people who sail in the same boat. A son who has decided to desert his parents for silly reasons should never forget that he is not far from that sorrow filled period of life.

It would be nice if we can help those poor people in old age homes as we would help out our parents. Some food for a day and very kind words can relieve them out of their pain.
