SOME TIPS TO BECOME AN RJ (radio jockey)

No doubt this job is one of the most interesting ones.
Certain qualities needed for this job are:

1. Whatever your emotions may be, an RJ is or shoud be always happy.



2. An RJ should be well aware of his/her city, culture and the events taking place in the city.



3. Should be up-to-date with the entrainment industry (movies, music etc).



4. Should be able to write/prepare scripts for his/her show.



5. Should enjoy talking to people.



6. Must be original and have a unique style.



7. You can't afford to have inhibitions.



8. Any other voice performance qualities like mimicry, local dialects and comedy or humor items will help you.



9. A good voice and know-how on voice modulation.
