We all have heard of the Beetles band who rocked the world and we also have heard about the car beetle which appeared in the movie herbie,but it’s amazing to know about the real beetles. In proportion to their size the strongest animals are the LARGER BEETLES of the family SCARABAEIDAE, which are found mainly in tropics. In tests carried out on a rhinoceros beetle of the family Dynastinae, it was found that it could support 850 times its own weight on its back (cf. 25 per cent of its body weight for an elephant).
