Doing project in network simulator??.Then this can be of little help.You need to know the use and ease of working in network simulator. Network simulator can be used to simulate a real time scenario.Mostly network related systems can be built virtually using simulators. The time to set up the real network is saved.The virtual system can be built for study and testing purposes. The behavior of the system can be studied using this tool.I have done a project in network simulator(final year project).

The software can be downloaded easily. The software is called cygwin for windows and ns-2.xx for installation in linux os(ubuntu and others).The software can be installed with steps provided in the download site.Traffic scenarios can also be illustrated using this tool.
